Laura Schmonsees graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Summa Cum Laude, from Northern Arizona University in 2011. She embarked on her second career in Physical Therapy after many years as a mountain guide at Jackson Hole Mountain Guides and NOLS. Laura specializes in Orthopaedic-based Manual Therapy, and many patients see her for IASTM and Trigger Point Dry Needling. As a climbing professional, as well as having 30 plus years of experience with kayaking, canoeing, back country skiing, mountain biking, skate skiing, and backpacking, Laura can use her knowledge of the biomechanics of the sports and activities you love, and help guide you to use more proper form in order to help you stay injury free.
In her free time, you will likely find her somewhere outside – hiking with her dog, climbing a rock face, mountain biking our local trails, or backcountry skiing.
